Highfield Boats Review

Some HIGHFIELD Boat Owner's Manuals PDF are above the page.

In the lineup of inflatable boats with rigid bottom Highfield replenishment. The Ocean Master 520 model is on top of the entire lineup, consisting of three families: the base Ultralite (240 - 260 cm), the intermediate Classic (260 - 380 cm) and the large Ocean Master (350 -520 cm).

The boats of the Ocean Master series are designed for the most difficult operating conditions and, depending on the selected material, are more suitable for temperate or tropical climates with a high level of ultraviolet radiation.

The Ocean Master 520 offers two inflatable body materials. The first is the low-cost Valmex polyvinyl chloride fiber produced by the German Mehler Technologies.

The material is resistant to contamination, mechanical damage and sudden changes in temperature. Particularly emphasizes the technology of manufacturing the body by heat sealing, without the use of glue.

It allows you to achieve greater strength and ensure a long service life at a relatively low cost.

The second material offered is ORCA from the French Pennel & Flipo. This is an analogue of the hypalon developed by Du Pont and which at the moment is perhaps the most high-tech material used in the manufacture of inflatable boats.

Its main advantages are resistance to destruction under prolonged exposure to ultraviolet radiation, poor combustibility and resistance to mechanical damage to puncture and rupture, resistance to aggressive liquids, oils, fuels and solvents.

The Ocean Master 520 case is made of ORCA material from sizing, however, it is claimed that thanks to its own technology using double laying of seams with neoprene inserts, the case serves no less than that made by heat welding.
