Moomba boats are manufactured by the private company Skiers Choice, located in Maryville, Tennessee. Skiers Choice also manufactures luxury supercats under the Supra brand name.
Both brands of boats are sold through a network of dealers in the United States and around the world. Today, Skiers Choice is the world's third largest towboat manufacturer.
In 2007 Moomba and Indmar present a new engine with a 5.7 liter catalytic converter and 340 hp.
The first engine of its kind for towing vehicles, which significantly reduced harmful emissions without reducing power.
